Michelle Pickles is an Aucklander with a Bachelor of Communications Studies from Auckland Institute of Technology (now AUT). 

Michelle joined TV3 in 2002 and is currently a sports reporter, producer and weekend NEWS sports presenter.

Before joining TV3 she spent five years with TVNZ on shows including Telstra Business, Breakfast, Midday, Tonight and One News.

Michelle is married to Trevor Swan, an engineer, and enjoys travelling, snow skiing and reading.  She also belongs to the New Zealand American Muscle Car Club.
