Holiday Parks across the country launch ‘The Great Holiday Park Auction’.

The Holiday Accommodation Parks Association of NZ has chosen the Breast Cancer Research Trust to be their charity of choice again in 2011/12, to help find a cure for breast cancer by 2018.

Over 300 Holiday Parks nationwide will participate in The Great Holiday Park Auction, with each Holiday Park donating an item or service which will be auctioned off and the money raised will assist in the funding of critical research.

To kick things off, 18 Holiday Parks around the country are donating the proceeds from one of their Maytag washing machines to the Breast Cancer Research Trust.

The park which raises the most money from the washing machine will receive a free Maytag Top Loading Coin operated washing machine thanks to Gooder Equipment.

The Cosy Corner Holiday Park Charity Auction & Trivia Night on the 2nd Jan raised $1134.00 for the Breast Cancer Research Trust. Great support from our fantastic campers and sponsors who provided prizes.
