The Accelerated Partial Breast Irradiation Trial being funded for three years will introduce a promising new radiation therapy approach to breast cancer patients in New Zealand.
The Department of Radiation Oncology at Auckland Hospital will collaborate with the Trans Tasman Radiation Oncology Group (TROG) to contribute to this trial and to use this trial as the foundation for further development of this treatment in Auckland.
